SEPTA Frequency Map
A web app to explore how often transit vehicles are scheduled to run versus how often buses actually have run during the past two weeks, as reported by SEPTA’s location API.
Hourly frequency is calculated by retrieving the number of vehicles scheduled on a SEPTA route in each direction for each hour and service day. Scheduled frequency is calculated from the current SEPTA GTFS file. Estimated actual frequency is calculated from data requested from the SEPTA location API at one-minute intervals and aggregated using a two-week rolling average.
